AI Prompt Optimizer

What the Prompt Optimizer does

A vague request gets a vague answer. This tool turns a rough idea into a strong, specific prompt through a short interview: you say what you want, the AI asks the clarifying questions it actually needs — your goal, audience, tone, format, and any constraints — and then it writes a polished prompt built around your answers.

Why the questions make it better

Most “prompt improvers” just reword what you typed, so they can only work with what you gave them. By asking first, this tool gathers the context a good prompt needs, which is exactly what a skilled prompt engineer would do. The result is a prompt that reflects your real intent — not the AI’s guess at it.

How it is handled

Your description and answers are sent securely to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate the questions and the final prompt, and are not stored by us. It uses a few cloud credits per optimization, and each step shows its cost before you run it. As with any AI, give the result a quick read before you use it.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from just asking the AI to write a prompt?

Instead of guessing, the AI first asks you a few clarifying questions about your goal, audience, tone, and format. Your answers give it the context it needs, so the final prompt is far more specific and useful than a one-shot rewrite.

Do I have to answer every question?

No. Answer what you can — anything you skip, the AI fills in with sensible defaults when it writes the prompt.

How many credits does it use?

A few per optimization: the clarifying-questions step uses 1 credit and building the final prompt uses 2, and each step shows its cost before you run it. Everyone gets free daily credits; Pro adds more.

Is my input stored?

No. Your description and answers are sent securely to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate the questions and the prompt, and are not stored by us. As with any AI, review the result before relying on it.
