Is Kitolity still free?
Yes. Every browser-based tool is unlimited and free, and you get 15 cloud credits a day — shared across all the cloud tools. Pro is an optional upgrade for people who want more monthly credits, bigger uploads, and no ads.
What is a “cloud credit”?
Cloud credits power the tools that run on secure cloud servers. Each file uses a small number of credits; simple files cost the least, while larger or scanned documents use a little more. Every browser-based tool is always unlimited and free and never uses credits.
What’s the difference between Pro and Pro Max?
Both give 100 MB uploads, no ads, the Pro theme, and no daily caps. Pro ($6/mo) includes 120 cloud credits a month; Pro Max ($8/mo) includes 220 — better value if you run the cloud tools a lot. You can also top up credits on either plan.
What happens if I run out of credits?
You never hit a wall mid-task: once your monthly credits are used you drop back to the same 15 free credits a day everyone gets, and you can top up anytime for more. Browser tools keep working with no limit.
How do payments work — is it secure?
Payments are processed by Paddle, an established Merchant of Record. Paddle is the seller of record and handles card processing, PCI security, fraud protection, invoicing, and global taxes (VAT/GST/sales tax). Kitolity never sees or stores your card or bank details.
Can I cancel, and can I get a refund?
Yes. Cancel anytime from your account; cancellation stops future renewals and you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds follow our Refund Policy and your statutory rights.
What happens to my files?
Files sent to a cloud tool are processed transiently by our sub-processor and automatically deleted within 24 hours. Pro only raises the limits — it does not change how your data is handled.
Do I need an account to use the tools?
No. Accounts exist only for Pro. All 25+ tools work with no sign-up, and most run entirely in your browser.
